Maritime Use Cases

This technology uses advanced membrane systems to improve water treatment efficiency in maritime operations. Onboard vessels such as cruise ships, naval vessels, and cargo ships, the membranes can enhance desalination performance, reducing energy consumption and operating costs while ensuring a stable supply of potable water during long voyages.

The membranes can also improve ballast water treatment by enhancing filtration efficiency, reducing biofouling, and increasing durability, helping vessels comply with the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention while lowering maintenance and chemical usage.

In offshore operations, the technology can be integrated into water recycling systems on rigs and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units. By enabling higher water recovery rates and better contaminant separation, the system supports more sustainable and efficient offshore water management.
