See into Walls via Deep UWB Radar
-
Practical Deployment:
Built using commodity-grade IR-UWB radar hardware. Designed to overcome high-cost barriers of traditional wall inspection systems. Affordable solution for widespread adoption
-
Portable and Hand-Held Design:
Easy to operate without heavy equipment, lightweight, swipe-based wall scanning device. Suitable for field inspections and on-site diagnostics
-
AI-Powered Self-Adaptive Processing:
Utilises an end-to-end deep learning pipeline. Avoids complicated calibration required by traditional model-based approaches. Designed to handle real-world variability
-
Non-invasive structural visibility:
Captures and processes signals propagating within walls. Enables non-destructive internal structural inspection
Maritime Use Cases

The UWB radar technology could be used to enhance the situational awareness and object detection capabilities of autonomous or remotely operated maritime vehicles, enabling them to “”see”” through obstacles, such as ship hulls or offshore structures, and navigate more safely in complex maritime environments.

The ability to detect and track objects behind physical barriers could be particularly useful for applications like autonomous docking, cargo handling, or underwater infrastructure inspection, where the vehicle’s line of sight may be obstructed.

The SiWA radar system could also be integrated into maritime security and surveillance systems, providing enhanced monitoring and intrusion detection capabilities in port facilities, offshore platforms, or other critical maritime infrastructure.
