COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is the joint-cooperative effort of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering Division and AZUR Offshore, UK. The course is designed to help the participants to acquire the fundamental knowledge on Offshore Safety and Human Factors and Risk Management. Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to understand the basics of offshore safety, human factors in safety, reliability engineering, offshore risks and management.
Case Studies and videos will be used to illustrate lessons learned from past offshore accidents and disasters.
A CDROM of the powerpoint presentation in colour will be distributed with the lecture materials.
