Themed ‘Manpower Development for World-Class Maritime R&D’, the SMI Forum 2014 will be held in the afternoon of 01 October 2014 (Wednesday) in Singapore.
The Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) Forum is a major annual event for SMI to gather stakeholders to share and discuss important issues that impact the industry. Each year since 2011, more than 200 distinguished participants have attended the annual Forum.
In its fourth edition this year, a total of nine (9) speakers are expected to address the current landscape and challenges relating to research manpower development for the maritime and offshore industry. The speakers will be divided into two groups to provide an academia track and an industry track. Each track will also include a panel discussion with Q&A.
