SMI Green Technology: Challenges & Opportunities R&D Workshop

The Singapore Maritime Institute jointly organised the SMI Green Technology R&D Workshop together with the Maritime Institute @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic (MI@NP) on the morning of 22 March 2013 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The latest of a series of planned R&D Workshops initiated by SMI and the Maritime Institute @ Institutes of Higher Learning (MI@IHLs), the workshop is a platform for participants from both the academia and the industry to discuss and brainstorm thematic challenges and opportunities.
Themed “Green Marine Technology: Challenges and Opportunities”, there were a range of topics covered under Green Technology such as IMO Regulations on Green Ship, Green Technology in Maritime & Offshore, and Ballast Water Management.
