Workshop on Structural Integrity of Offshore Structures
The Centre for Offshore Research & Engineering (CORE) in NUS is organizing a 1-Day Workshop on Structural Integrity of Offshore Structures with the theme “Advanced Analysis for Cost Effective Structural and Process Solutions”. The Workshop will be held at NUSS Guildhouse in NUS campus on 12th August 2015.
The 1-Day Workshop on Structural Integrity of Offshore Structures brings together four renowned experts in offshore engineering to share their knowledge on important issues directly linked to asset integrity. Prof. Paul Taylor and Prof. Yoo Sang Choo will provide updates on recent research and developments in wave-current blockage and tubular joints which have important implications on re-assessment and retrofitting of aged offshore platforms. Prof. Jorgen Amdahl will present on revisions to codes and recommendation practices for assessing high energy impact on bottom founded structures. Dr. Tore Holmas will highlight CFD results on explosion and wave-in-deck, Blast & Fire, and integrity management.
The participants in the workshop are encouraged to raise technical issues during the Q&A sessions for knowledge sharing.
The registration fee for the workshop is S$250.00 per person (inclusive of GST).
