SUMMARY:Syncrolift – Shiplift and Transfer Systems by Dean Reeves
DESCRIPTION:Rolls-Royce Syncrolift® shiplifts and transfer systems are used to increase efficiency and reduce drying-docking times at many of the world’s leading shipyards. To date over 240 Syncrolifts have been installed in 71 countries. Lifting capacities of these facilities range in size from 150 tonnes to over 25,000 tonnes, and installations well in excess of 60,000 tonnes have been engineered and are practicable. The presentation will focus on the design and construction of the Syncrolift® along with the key advantages of the system over other docking methods. One particular customer of Syncrolift® has docked up to 2000 vessels per year from a single Syncrolift. Attendees of the presentation will have the opportunity to learn about the ever expanding use of the Syncrolift® system and identify why it has become the industry standard for the docking of a multitude of vessel types from Megayachts, Commercial Vessels to Nuclear Submarines.Speaker – Dean Reeves
