DESCRIPTION:In its fourth edition this year, the Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) Seminar 2017 will be held on the morning of 26 April 2017 (Wednesday). Organised in conjunction with the Singapore Maritime Week 2017 (SMW), the SMI Seminar 2017 will focus on Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the future of Maritime Singapore.Themed “Future of Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence”, the SMI Seminar seeks to invite expert views and discussions on the impact, challenges and research &amp; development opportunities that AR and AI would have for the maritime industry. Shortlisted maritime research projects supported by SMI will be featured at this Showcase to raise and promote the profile of maritime research and technology in Singapore. The Research Showcase will also be recognising research excellence where visitors are invited to vote for their favourite research projects.
