SUMMARY:SMI Green Technology R&D Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Singapore Maritime Institute will be jointly organising the SMI Green Technology R&D Workshop together with the Maritime Institute @ Ngee Ann Polytechnic (MI@NP) on the morning of 22 March 2013 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The latest of a series of planned R&D Workshops initiated by SMI and the Maritime Institute @ Institutes of Higher Learning (MI@IHLs), the workshop will be a platform for participants from both the academia and the industry to discuss and brainstorm thematic challenges and opportunities.Themed “Green Marine Technology: Challenges and Opportunities”, there will be a range of topics covered under Green Technology such as IMO Regulations on Green Ship, Green Technology in Maritime & Offshore, and Ballast Water Management.Interested parties may wish to register via Mr Edmund Oh at obk2@np.edu.sg and +65 6460 8500 for more information.
