DESCRIPTION:The Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) Forum is a major annual event for SMI to gather stakeholders to share and discuss important issues that impact the industry. Each year since 2011, over 200 distinguished participants including senior executives from the maritime industry, academia and government agencies have attended the annual Forum.Themed ‘Deepening Maritime Research & Technology’, the SMI Forum 2016 will be held in the morning of 10 October 2016 (Monday).Key highlights of the SMI Forum include the inaugural biennial SMI Awards 2016 in recognition of outstanding achievement and excellence in maritime and offshore research & technology.
