SUMMARY:SMI Breakfast Series: Maritime Energy Test Bed
DESCRIPTION:Part of the Singapore Maritime Institute’s (SMI) continuing efforts to bring the industry and academia closer and promote research collaboration between both communities, the inaugural SMI Breakfast Series will commence this 27 February morning.Starting with Nanyang Technological University’s (NTU) upcoming Maritime Energy Test Bed (METB) R&D initiative, the METB team will be sharing the latest project status and updates for participants’ first-hand information. A dialogue will also take place among participants on possible R&D infrastructure concepts in the future.About the SMI Breakfast SeriesThe SMI Breakfast Series will be serving quarterly breakfast seminars throughout the year to allow for greater interaction between the industry and academia over a less formal setting. Selected research topics will be shared and discussed over coffee and breakfast. Participants can expect first-hand preview of existing and upcoming R&D trends and initiatives, and how they can be of greater relevance to maritime and offshore industry development.
