DESCRIPTION:MARIN and the Maritime Institute @ Singapore Polytechnic (MI@SP) will be organising the three-day Applied Hydrodynamics of Floating Offshore Structures course in Singapore. This gives an overview of the latest developments including extreme metocean conditions, motion analysis and wave impact. The course gives an overview of the latest experiences in a broad range of important fields, such as extreme metocean conditions (hurricane waves, loop currents, wind squalls), motion analysis, wave impact and green water loads, Dynamic Positioning (DP), coupled mooring analysis, offloading operations, shallow water mooring, and deep water model testing of Spars, Semis, TLPs and FPSOs.
