SUMMARY:Primer Course in Offshore Drilling Technology
DESCRIPTION:This course is the joint-cooperative effort of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Centre of Innovation – Marine &amp; Offshore Technology and AZUR Offshore, UK The aim of the course is to help participants in acquiring the fundamental knowledge on Offshore Drilling technologies and processes on offshore jack-up and floater drilling rigs. Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to understand the basics of offshore rigs design, their working principles and field requirements. Case Studies, videos and multimedia will be used to illustrate engineering principles and lessons learnt from past successful projects.
