SUMMARY:MPA Smart Port Hackathon 2015
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and supported by UP Singapore and Singapore Polytechnic (SP), the Smart Port Hackathon 2015 (14 to 16 August) will, for the first time, bring many of the stakeholders in this ecosystem together with other passionate citizens to improve efficiency of the industry and increase Singapore’s competitiveness. How can technology and data be applied to improve processes and information flow?the Smart Port Hackathon is set to look beyond the boundaries of the Singapore port and bring together stakeholders from the entire maritime supply chain. The challenge is to develop solutions that integrate members in the supply chain and create synergies among them.Whether you’re a student, a techie, or an industry professional, this hackathon will be a unique learning experience for each participant, as you get a panoramic view of the industry and explore the myriad of challenges it faces.
