SUMMARY:Fatigue Design of Steel Structures to SS EN 1993-1-9 and SS EN 1993-1-10 (With Worked Examples)
DESCRIPTION:Eurocode 3 is the harmonised European Standard for the design of steel structures which is intended eventually to supersede BS5950-1 for building steelwork design. Many of our technical regulations and standards on civil and structural engineering works are linked to the British Standards.This short course, which is based on Singapore Standard SS EN 1993-1-9:2010 and SS EN 1993-1-10:2010, Eurocode 3: Design of Steel Structures, Part 1-9: Fatigue and Part 1-10: Material toughness and through-thickness properties, respectively, is to provide the industry the relevant technical background with design examples to familiarise with the specific subject of fatigue and fracture for design of steel structures due to effect of repetitive loading and very thick materials.
